Sorare NBA GW 47 Primer | The End is Near 🗓️
Featuring End-Of-Season Roster Chaos, the MVP Race, Wembanyama Hype, Value Picks & More
Welcome to the Sorare NBA Game Week 47 Primer!
The Primer is going up on a Tuesday this week, as there was no NBA action yesterday due to the NCAA Championship.
The next round of action (and the second-to-last regular season Game Week) kicks off today, and we're here to break down all the relevant information for the upcoming slate. Lineups lock at 6:50 p.m. EST — with the upcoming contests running Tuesday-Thursday.
Let’s get into all the action for this week of hoops:
Game Week Rewind ⏮
While the MVP conversation has been dominated by Joel Embiid and Nikola Jokic, Jayson Tatum has been sending some reminders to the league that he should perennially be in the conversation.
The Boston star followed up Thursday’s 40-point masterpiece in the blowout of the Milwaukee Bucks with yet another efficient performance on Friday. Tatum finished Friday’s win over Utah with 39 points (12-17 FG) and 11 rebounds, good for a slate-leading 71 Sorare Points.
Trailing just behind Tatum was Jalen Brunson (taking advantage of Julius Randle’s absence) and Luka Doncic (Mavericks are down horrendously) at 69 Sorare Points a piece.
Some other players that provided significant value relative to their cap:
Scottie Barnes (63 Sorare Points, +34)
Dominick Barlow (40 Sorare Points, +31)
Svi Mykhaiiliuk (43 Sorare Points, +30)
James Bouknight (37 Sorare Points, +30)
Rui Hachimura (44 Sorare Points, +30)
Unrelated to Sorare (or NBA action as of now), but projected No. 1 pick Victor Wembanyama created another mind-bending highlight this week:
His Sorare cards next season are going to break the bank!
Multi-Game Monitor 🗓
In Sorare NBA, having a player with several games during a competition can be a big advantage — with an extra chance at a ceiling performance.
Most teams have two games again this week, so let’s highlight some of the potential teams that carry a bit more risk with just one contest:
📉 1 Game: Charlotte Hornets, Dallas Mavericks, Golden State Warriors,Houston Rockets, Indiana Pacers, Los Angeles Clippers, Minnesota Timberwolves, New York Knicks

Game Week 47 Value Picks:
*Note — these selections are based purely on L10 value in lineups — and do not consider the auction or market prices of the players listed.
Jordan Goodwin | 12 L10, Delon Wright | 18 L10, and Johnny Davis | 9 L10 — With the Washington Wizards officially eliminated from playoff contention on Sunday, we’re likely looking at the Wiz B Team for the rest of the season. Kyle Kuzma hasn’t played in weeks and is likely shut down, Kristaps Porzingis and Bradley Beal have already been ruled out for Tuesday, and even Deni Avdija and Monte Morris won’t be available.
Lucky for us Sorare players, these absences mean a lot of value opening up, especially in the backcourt. Jordan Goodwin has flashed several times this season when given minutes, and is coming off of 32 and 21 Sorare Point performances. Ditto for Delon Wright, who has now seen over 30 minutes in four straight. The youth movement has also been positive for rookie Johnny Davis, who is now seeing consistent run and has performed admirably.
All three look like good value plays with high upside given the current state of the Wizards roster.
Also Consider: Corey Kispert (23 L10), Daniel Gafford (19 L10)
Svi Mykhailiuk | 18 L10 and Theo Maledon | 15 L10, James Bouknight | 6 L10 and Bryce McGowens | 9 L10 — A similar youth / tanking movement has been underway in Charlotte, and from the looks of the injury report, its about to get even more wacky. While PJ Washington has been putting up stellar numbers while surrounded by reserves, he has been ruled out for Tuesday’s game alongside Gordon Hayward, Terry Rozier and Kelly Oubre — and Mark Williams (a favorite of mine) is now doubtful.
I’m not sure who is going to score for this team, but the trio of Svi Mykhailiuk, Theo Maledon and James Bouknight have already been seizing the opportunity (and have been featured here heavily over the last several primers). No need to reinvent the wheel — I’m continuing to roll with the Charlotte guards, especially given the additional players ruled out this week.
Also Consider: Kai Jones (13 L10), Dennis Smith Jr. (26 L10, *if active*)
Shaedon Sharpe | 27 L10, Drew Eubanks | 20 L10, and Jabari Walker | 9 L10 — The Blazers were early to the tanking game, so we’ve already seen how their lineup has shaken out amidst pretty much the entire rotation being ruled out. Shaedon Sharpe has flashed star potential and received obscene usage, while Drew Eubanks has also proven himself to be a reliable source of stats in a larger role.
We’ve got a few wrinkles with the Portland roster this week, with Nassir Little ruled out and Kevin Knox II, Matisse Thybulle, John Butler Jr., Cam Reddish, and Trendon Watford all listed as questionable. Monitor the statuses there, but we could be looking at an even thinner rotation than normal — boosting the outlooks for the current top dogs even more.
Also Consider: Whoever else is active
Bonus Picks:
Bennedict Mathurin | 19 L10 — Still a value with Indiana winding down their season and Tyrese Haliburton looking less and less likely to return.
Obi Toppin | 12 L10 — Seeing consistent minutes with Julius Randle out, and should be a solid play while his cap remains low
Julian Champaigne | 11 L10 — The Spurs look to be sitting pretty much everyone, and Champaigne has now had back-to-back impressive performances in a row
