Sorare NBA GW 39 Primer | Soaring IQ Scores
Featuring a Quickley Explosion, Ja Morant Fallout, Value Picks & More
Welcome to the Sorare NBA Game Week 39 Primer!
The next round of action kicks off today, and we're here to break down all the relevant information for the upcoming slate. Lineups lock at 6:50 p.m. EST — with the upcoming contests running Monday-Thursday.
Let’s get into all the action for this week of hoops:
Game Week Rewind ⏮
IQ scores are going up!
New York Knicks guard Immanuel Quickley detonated on Sunday night, topping the slate with 79 Sorare Points in a breakout performance during the double-OT win over the Celtics:
P.S. — 55 minutes is an absolute Tom Thibodeau special (as a Bulls fan, those are Luol Deng/Jimmy Butler minutes).
Quickley’s 54 points above his L10 cap was one of the top-value performances of the year — and the guard has quietly gone over 25 Sorare Points in 8 of his last 10 contests.
Also of note was the second-highest scorer on the slate — with Tyus Jones taking advantage of a starting role en route to a 68 Sorare Point performance. Ja Morant is out indefinitely while he deals with the fallout from an Instagram Live video in which he flashes a gun at a nightclub, meaning Jones should be one of the top movers to get into Sorare lineups.
Some other players that provided significant value relative to their cap:
Al Horford (62 Sorare Points, +39)
Delon Wright (55 Sorare Points, + 33)
Marvin Bagley III (49 Sorare Points, +29)
Jalen Williams (60 Sorare Points, +29)
Nickeil Alexander-Walker (37 Sorare Points, +28)
Multi-Game Monitor 🗓
In Sorare NBA, having a player with several games during a competition can be a big advantage — with an extra chance at a ceiling performance.
Most teams have two games this Game Week, so let’s highlight the singles:
📈 3 Games: Detroit Pistons
📉 1 Game: Chicago Bulls, Los Angeles Clippers, Minnesota Timberwolves, Phoenix Suns
Injury & Roster Info 🏥
Here are some notable (not all-inclusive) injury/lineup situations to monitor and plan for ahead of this week's games.
Stephen Curry returned to action on Sunday, seeing 32 minutes in the loss to the Lakers and racking up 27 points and 6 assists (42 Sorare Points)
As mentioned above, Ja Morant is without a timetable to return while he is away from the team to work through personal issues. The Grizzlies also suffered an additional blow this weekend with Brandon Clarke suffering a season-ending torn Achilles.
The Celtics provided an update on center Robert Williams, who is expected to miss the next 7-10 days with a hamstring injury.
The information below is as of Monday, March 6, but can give broader insights for the rest of the Game Week.

Game Week 39 Value Picks:
*Note — these selections are based purely on L10 value in lineups — and do not consider the auction or market prices of the players listed.
Tyus Jones | 15 L10 — The Grizzlies have had the luxury of having one of the top backup guards in the league this season, as Tyus Jones has been excellent when called upon. With Ja Morant out indefinitely, Jones now has the opportunity to take on a full-time starting role for the foreseeable future — making him one of the most attractive value plays out there.
Also Consider: Xavier Tillman (23 L10), David Roddy (6 L10), John Konchar (10 L10)
Marvin Bagley III | 23 L10 — The Detroit Pistons are absolutely decimated by injuries and tanking hard — which makes their situation ripe for value in Sorare. In the frontcourt, Jalen Duren, Isaiah Stewart, and Bojan Bogdanovic have all been ruled out again for Monday’s contest — and James Wiseman is now questionable with an ankle injury. That leaves Marvin Bagley as one of the few bigs left — and the former top prospect is coming off a 48 Sorare Point performance.
Also Consider: Isaiah Livers (11 L10), Rodney McGruder (7 L10, questionable*)
Cam Reddish | 16 L10 and Matisse Thybulle | 20 L10 — This duo makes the value picks list yet again, as Anfernee Simons has already been ruled out of Monday’s game. Reddish has gone over 20 Sorare Points in six of his last seven performances, and should be in line for another heavy dose of minutes. Ditto for Matisse Thybulle, who has been locked-in to a nice role since joining Portland at the trade deadline. Both players’ L10s are still at a very affordable level — and a matchup against the lowly Pistons should provide some room for big numbers.
Also Consider: Drew Eubanks (21 L10), Shaedon Sharpe (18 L10), Nassir Little (18 L10)
Bonus Picks:
Mike Muscala | 18 L10 — No Tatum or Horford for Monday, meaning Muscala should factor in heavily as one of the few fresh bigs on the roster.
TJ McConnell | 19 L10 — Has been putting up solid numbers even in a reserve role, and could factor in more this week with Tyrese Haliburton banged up coming off a back-to-back.
Jordan Nwora | 15 L10 — Has quietly carved out a role with the Pacers, seeing 20+ minutes in four straight games and going over 20 Sorare Points in each contest.
Trey Murphy | 23 L10 — Pelicans have barely any bodies left to play, and Murphy has been called upon more of late and has been picking up additional usage.
