Game Week Rewind ⏮
Take a bow, Cam Thomas.
CAM THOMAS TONIGHT:
43 POINTS
5 REBOUNDS
3 ASSISTS
Last 3 games:
43 PTS - 5 REB - 3 AST (tonight)
47 PTS - 4 REB - 3 AST
44 PTS - 5 REB - 5 AST
Cam is the youngest player in NBA history to score 40 points in three straight games 🤯 pic.twitter.com/tgX4EbYX8r— NBACentral (@TheNBACentral) February 8, 2023
The Brooklyn Nets second-year guard had a run reminiscent of Jeremy Lin's 'Linsanty' — going from barely into the rotation to three straight games of 40+ points. His 57 Sorare Points were the ninth-highest performance on the slate — a whopping +45 from his cap of 12.
It would also be wrong to not mention the most coveted record in basketball being broken this past Game Week — with LeBron James surpassing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to take the top spot on the all-time scoring list. Chills.
Some other notable players who provided significant value:
Jaylen Nowell (56 Sorare Points, +42)
Jaden Hardy (46 Sorare Points, +39)
Andre Drummond (48 Sorare Points, +32)
Josh Okogie (49 Sorare Points, +32)
Josh Minott (35 Sorare Points, +31)
Trade Tracker ♻️
With the trade deadline sending approximately half the league to different destinations (slight exaggeration), Sorare managers might be feeling overwhelmed with all the change. Let's hit on some of the most notable movers:
*Note: Many of these trades included draft pick compensation — just listing the players here since that is what's relevant to our Sorare lineups.
The Blockbuster: 4 Team Deal (BKN, PHX, MIL, IND)
Kevin Durant and TJ Warren to the Phoenix Suns
Mikal Bridges and Cameron Johnson to the Brooklyn Nets
Jae Crowder to the Milwaukee Bucks
George Hill, Serge Ibaka, and Jordan Nwora to the Indiana Pacers
Kyrie Heads West
Kyrie Irving and Markieff Morris to the Dallas Mavericks
Spencer Dinwiddie and Dorian Finney-Smith to the Brooklyn Nets
Lakers Shake Up Roster: 3 Team Deal (LAL, UTA, MIN)
D'Angelo Russell, Malik Beasley, Jarred Vanderbilt to the Los Angeles Lakers
Mike Conley and Nickeil Alexander-Walker to the Utah Jazz
Russell Westbrook (likely getting bought out), Juan Toscano-Anderson, and Damian Jones to the Utah Jazz
Raptors Switch to Buyers
Jakob Poetl to the Toronto Raptors
Khem Birch to the San Antonio Spurs
Other quick hits:
Josh Hart to the Knicks, Cam Reddish, Matisse Thybulle, and Ryan Arcidiacono to the Blazers, Jalen McDaniels to the 76ers
Mo Bamba and Davon Reed to the Lakers, Thomas Bryant to the Nuggets, Bones Hyland to the Clippers, Patrick Beverley to the Magic
Mason Plumlee to the Clippers, Reggie Jackson (buy-out candidate) to the Hornets

Multi-Game Monitor 🗓
In Sorare NBA, having a player with several games during a competition can be a big advantage — with an extra chance at a ceiling performance.
2 Games: Boston Celtics, Charlotte Hornets, Cleveland Cavaliers, Dallas Mavericks, Detroit Pistons, Indiana Pacers, Miami Heat, Memphis Grizzlies, New York Knicks, Philadelphia 76ers, Sacramento Kings, San Antonio Spurs, Toronto Raptors, Utah Jazz
Injury & Roster Info 🏥
Here are some notable (not all-inclusive) injury/lineup situations to monitor and plan for ahead of this week's games.
Jaylen Brown suffered a facial fracture on Wednesday and is out indefinitely — putting his status for the All-Star Game into question.
With all of the trades on Thursday, the status of players moving teams could significantly alter this weekend's slate. I'd expect at least a day of lag time — meaning teams that have games on Friday night could be without their new additions if the move was made on Thursday.
Ruled Out ❌
Jalen McDaniels, PHI (traded, won't make debut Friday), Josh Richardson, NOP (traded, won't make debut Friday), Khem Birch, SAS (traded, won't make debut Friday), Kawhi Leonard, LAC (injury management), OG Anunoby, TOR (wrist), Victor Oladipo, MIA (ankle)
Questionable ❓
Jordan Clarkson, UTA (illness), Lu Dort, OKC (hamstring), Kyle Anderson, MIN, (back), Rudy Gobert, MIN (groin), Luka Doncic, DAL (heel), Jayson Tatum, BOS (illness), Romeo Langford, SAS (adductor), Tre Jones, SAS (foot), Jeremy Sochan, SAS (back), Keldon Johnson, SAS (ankle)

Value Plays 🤑
Last Game Week's Value Pick Performances:
Player | L10 | GW 32 Performance
Cam Thomas, 12 L10, 57 Sorare Points (+45) 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Patty Mills, 12 L10, 14 Sorare Points (+2) ❌
Edmond Sumner, 9 L10, 39 Sorare Points (+30) 🔥🔥🔥
Jaden Hardy, 7 L10, 46 Sorare Points (+39) 🔥🔥🔥
Josh Green, 16 L10, 42 Sorare Points (+26) 🔥🔥
Trenton Watford, 6 L10, 17 Sorare Points (+11) 🔥
Lots of flames this week, with the Nets and the Mavericks providing a ton of low-cap value for managers!
Game Week 33 Value Picks:
*Note — these selections are based purely on L10 value in lineups — and do not consider the auction or market prices of the players listed.
Colin Sexton | 19 L10 — The Utah Jazz were sellers at the deadline, moving Mike Conley, Jared Vanderbilt, and Malik Beasley for several draft picks and Russell Westbrook (who is likely getting bought out). With a lot going out and not much in the way of players returning, those who do remain could see a serious increase in minutes and usage.
Colin Sexton has been a useful guard off the bench for the Jazz this season, and is coming off a 40-point Sorare performance after entering the starting lineup on Wednesday. With fellow guard Jordan Clarkson questionable due to an illness, Sexton could be in line for all the usage he can handle this weekend — and should be able to soar past his modest 19 cap.
Also Consider: Kelly Olynyk (19 L10), Talen Horton-Tucker (13 L10)
Zach Collins | 20 L10 — Jakob Poetl is now in Toronto, and the Spurs are about to fully fire up the tank (if they weren't already) for the remainder of the season. Zach Collins has flashed tremendous upside whenever Poetl has missed time, and now finds himself in line for an expanded role as one of the few true bigs left on the roster. With little competition for minutes and the ability to rack up points and rebounds, Collins could be a huge source of value going forward.
Also Consider: Malaki Branham (18 L10)
Nassir Little | 11 L10 and Jerami Grant | 29 L10 — The Blazers were also sellers at the deadline, sending Josh Hart to the Knicks and Gary Payton II back to the Warriors, receiving Cam Reddish and Matisse Thybulle in return.
With both of the additions unlikely to be ready for Friday's contest, the Blazers could be light on wings — opening the door for Nassir Little. While he hasn't been a world-beater of late, Little is a low-cap / potentially high-minute combo that is great for finding value.
Jerami Grant's cap has crept down after a stretch of average play, but the forward finds himself in a great position with the roster moves and lack of size to ramp up his production. Getting a player with 60+ Sorare Point ceiling upside in the high 20s is a worthwhile gamble.
Also Consider: Drew Eubanks (22 L10)
Mark Williams | 20 L10 — The heavens have opened up, and Mark Williams has been freed! Williams has been ridiculously stuck behind Mason Plumlee for the entire season, and criminally underused by coach Steve Clifford. But the fantasy point-per-minute monster is finally looking at an increased role thanks to trades that sent Plumlee to the Clippers and Jalen McDaniels to the 76ers — opening the door for the rookie center to unleash.
Let's hope Clifford doesn't find a way to continue limiting Williams, and that starter's minutes become the norm — and if so, look out!
Also Consider: Gordon Hayward (18 L10), PJ Washington (28 L10, ceiling potential), JT Thor (6 L10, dart throw with potential insertion into rotation)
