It should be noted that some farming "experts" called this one entirely wrong.
CC2Ventures expected this to be a juicy airdrop for early ETH adopters, stating:
"My gut tells me Early Adopters will claim a substantial amount, as you had to be among the first 1000 users to interact with a fresh, 'risky' contract, that later on turned out to be widely used."
He was touting the Wenser site to check eligibility, which many did - only for Starknet to release entirely different criteria this morning.
The lesson? Be careful who you trust out there.
And airdrop farming (especially sybil farming) continues to be a very profitable profession in 2024.
📈 Crypto Rips Overnight
This morning was a fun one for those who like to wake up and check prices first thing (cough, me).
The entire board was washed in green.
Take a look at the majors and their daily / weekly gains:
BTC +2.9% to $51,367 (+19.8% on week)
ETH +2.8% to $2,750 (+16.6% on week)
SOL +1.3% to $115.26 (+21% on week)
Other recent and notable coins saw major gains as well:
SEI +15% to $0.86
DYM +6.75% to $7.60
WIF +15% to $445M market cap
Majors are moving, alt-L1s are moving, and memecoins are moving.
What a morning!
Oh, and the BTC ETF inflows aren't slowing down.
Yesterday another $630M in inflows was recorded. That pushed the 4-day total to $2B and a whopping $3.8B since they opened on <checks notes> January 11.
Who knows how long these levels of inflows will continue, but let's enjoy the ride while it lasts.
🚚 What else is happening in NFTs?
Here is the list of other notable headlines from the weekend in NFTs:
ETH trading volume soared to $26.7M on Sunday after 2 slow days around $17-20M, primarily driven by Pudgy Penguins; NFT leaders were mixed
Berastone was the top mover on ETH, jumping 100% to 1.79 ETH; Tableland Rigs and RKL were next up, both jumping nearly 70%
ACK's Opepen Set revealed on Tuesday and opened at a 1.469 ETH floor with sales as high as 3.5 ETH
Jack Butcher had a big day, dropping his Ordinals Checks collection on BTC (0.4 BTC floor tho no sales) and announcing that Checks and Opepens would be going to 0% royalties, teasing a new plan for the future
NFTperp announced a new partner in Protecc Labs to provide more liquidity for their v2 protocol launch (already live for select users)
RSIC led action on BTC tallying 33 BTC on the day and rebounding to 0.074 BTC after Boost instructions were released; Quantum Cats fell to 0.21, Nodes to 0.171 and Puppets to 0.069 in a red day for BTC NFTs
New BTC art project Flares from FAR (Quantum Cats artist) minted out at 0.015 BTC in a Dutch auction, going live on secondary later today
A new BTC airdrop called The Rune Guardians was sent to collectors of various Ordinals and reached a 0.025 BTC floor at peak on Tuesday (now 0.015)
Solana NFTs mostly chopped over the weekend with Transdimensional Fox Federation leading volume at 5.5 SOL; Mad Lads-3% 162, Tensorians +2% at 82 and Crypto Undeads -40% at 4.49
Mochimons teased its "Mochi Map" yesterday, continuing to lead NFT action on Base at a 0.74 ETH floor
Two NFT projects are calling it quits, after the Teddies CEO stepped down just a week after mint and the Robotos team officially says goodbye 2.5 years after mint

🗓 Upcoming NFT Mints and Reveals
Today is a busy day of mints, mostly in the art sector, spanning blockchains.
On BTC, artist Harto (The Golden Ratio) is kicking things off with Flora Forms, a 10k generative collection minting for $5 each.
Then over on ETH, Art Blocks Curated is back with "Proscenium," likely the most anticipated Curated drop in a long time. It's a 400 piece set using a "generative geometry" meets paint on canvas theme, mining in the standard Dutch auction format.
Then over on Solana, the Claynosaurz are launching an open edition along with Magic Eden.
